During these troubling times, we are forced to operate our lives in unusual ways. We are living with many unknown protocols that are required in order to keep each other safe from the Covid19 pandemic. When we operate within "unknown" situations we are naturally anxious about "unknown" outcomes. It is our natural state to feel safe with routine practices where very few changes occur on a daily basis. Over a short period of time, constantly living within the unknown takes a toll on our emotional health.

The Breath of Ha is a tool that can be used to help you feel more connected to Source energy, to remind yourself that all is well, the Universe has your back and, whatever is going on at this moment in time is meant to be. Our job is to learn to love what is no matter how stressful it may feel.

The Breath of Ha is a breathing meditation from the practice of Ho'oponopono (to make right or to correct what is wrong). The word Ha is Hawaiian for God. So we are about to learn about breathing with God. Below is my particular protocol that I practice almost every day before I get deeper into my practice of Ho'oponopono prayers. It is not the "right" way or the "only" way it is the way I do it. I hope it works for you as well as it does for me. Feel free to experiment there is no right or wrong here.

If you would like to do The Breath of Ha with me please open this video. It takes less than 4 minutes.

The Breath of Ha:
Create a rhythm in your head, like a cadence, by repeating the Ho'oponopono "cleaning" prayer; I love you, I am sorry, Please forgive me, Thank you. This might also feel like a count of four. Each part of the prayer would be 4 counts.

One full round of The Breath of Ha consists of Inhaling through the nose (I love you, I am sorry, Please forgive me, Thank you ) Pause ( I love you, I am sorry, Please forgive me, Thank you), Exhaling through the mouth [while making the sound of Ha] (I love you, I am sorry, Please forgive me, Thank you), Pause (I love you, I am sorry, Please forgive me, Thank you).

Inhalation and exhalation are separated as they are two powerful Universal forces. As we inhale it is useful to feel like we are pulling love, healing energy and positive forces from the Universe. As we exhale it is useful to feel like we are releasing stress, anxiety, anger and negative emotions from our body and mind. Pausing in between keeps these forces from intermingling and getting confused.

The full Breath of Ha consists of 7 rounds. Once accomplished you will feel calmer, more at peace and more open to receiving the benefits of practicing Ho'oponopono.

Please let me know what your experiences are as you practice the Breath of Ha.

Thank you, I love you,
